Chiropractic Care Overview

Oftentimes pain moves us to seek out care, but getting out of pain is only the first step. Understanding how we ended up injured will help us become stronger, healthier, and avoid subsequent injuries. It is my privilege to work with my patients through that journey.

I believe in building a therapeutic alliance with my patients on a foundation of trust, respect, and appreciation.

Chiropractic is a drug-free hands-on approach to care that begins with the nervous and musculoskeletal system. Treatment helps restore normal ranges of motion and movement.

In my office I focus on 3 areas with my patients to build an individualized whole body approach.

  • Education - Understanding the root cause of pain or dysfunction by looking at the whole body and equipping you with the knowledge to understand the reasoning behind your treatment plan.

  • Movement - Work with each patient to start moving better to prevent future injury through individualized exercise rehab and stretches. Once out of pain we work into an exercise prescription that will build strength and mobility to allow us all to reach our health goals.

  • Manual Therapy - Hands on chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilizations, soft tissue work including myofascial trigger point release, instrument assisted soft tissue, cupping, and kinesio taping.

It is also important to mention my focus on patient care is constantly evolving to provide a safe, equitable environment to all—regardless of age, race, gender identity or expression, religion, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, culture, or veteran status.

Chiropractic is a conservative (non-invasive) care approach that treats the whole body through hands-on work focusing on restoring and maintaining mobility between each vertebrae. In my office, I treat the joints, nervous system, soft tissue, and biomechanics of each patient.

I use diversified chiropractic adjustments, myofascial soft tissue release, pin and stretch muscle work, ergonomic and movement assessments, instrument assisted soft tissue work, cupping, kinesio taping and exercise rehabilitation.

Wait…but what is chiropractic anyway?

Treatment Areas

Low Back & Hips

Whether achy, stiff, sharp or shooting, low back pain comes in many forms and affects most of us at one time or another. Understanding why our low back and hips have come to hurt will help us determine how to stabilize and strengthen them to stay out of pain.

Sports Injuries & Prevention

Imbalances of strength, flexibility and mobility make us susceptible to injury. Building foundational, sport-specific strength helps us overcome past injuries, prevent future injury, and become stronger athletes. Beginning with identification and treatment of injury and then moving to building strength and overcoming imbalances and compensations.

Neck & Shoulders

Most upper back, neck, and shoulder pain without trauma stems from poor posture. We hold imbalances between our muscles that lead to soreness and pain.

Ergonomics & Posture

So much of our days are sitting too long, crossing our legs or leaning to one side. Our postural biases lead to repetitive microtraumas that can create injury. Learn how to overcome postural demands and become stronger.

Headaches & TMJ

Tension type headaches often result from tight neck muscles due to poor posture. Coupled with stress and grinding of your teeth can lead to TMJ dysfunction. Both can be addressed with care helping you treat the cause rather than symptoms with medication.

Prenatal & Postpartum Care

Supportive care can help prepare you for labor as well as keep you out of pain during pregnancy. Postpartum care helps heal the body after giving birth, helping you gain your core strength and recover.

How It Works

New Patient Evaluation

All care starts with a comprehensive assessment including health history, examination, diagnosis, and treatment plan.

1 hour | $135

Treatment Plan

Treatment plans vary for each patient. Length of care for an acute injury are often resolved with 2-6 visits but sometimes will take more frequent visits to move past injury into recovery.

All follow up visits are 30 minutes | $70

Maintenance & Wellness

Once out of acute pain, the work has just begun. Maintenance care is to help build accountability and progress for patients to move beyond injury and pain to being stronger humans. We will address aches and pains that come up as well as continue to modify home exercises and health and movement goals.

  • No, not at this time.

  • No, you do not need a referral.

However, if you have been managing your care with another physician and have relevant records please upload to your new patient intake or bring them along to your first visit.

  • Your first appointment will be an hour in which we dive into your health history, what brings you to the office and what you want to get out of care. We will do an examination and start care that day as long as no external imaging or tests need to be performed first. If x rays or other tests are needed I will refer you out for those services.

Dr. Redding is happy to mask upon request. She has been fully vaccinated and boosted and continues to take both her health and that of you and your families seriously.
